Trina Reid-Hohler
Born in California, Trina moved to Paris, France at an early age where she did all her schooling. Trina returned to California where she married and had two girls and two adopted dogs. Trina, her two daughters and two dogs moved to Sandy, Oregon 22 years ago and have called this home ever since.
While raising her two daughters and her dogs, Trina became involved with the local Sandy FFA Chapter and participated in many events with her girls. In 1997 through 1999 Trina received the Honorary Chapter degree from the Sandy FFA Chapter as well as a plaque for her distinguished Services with FFA. Trina's love of animals and experience with dogs, cats, horses, sheep, goats and pigs led her to pursue a degree in Animal Science in 1997. In 1999 she opened Cedar Creek Cattery and began incorporating her dog grooming skills into the business. Today, Cedar Creek Cattery is operating at full capacity.

Greg Hohler
Born in Washington, Greg moved to Portland, Oregon at the age of two with his family. Greg received a degree in Engineering and then moved to Sandy, Oregon over 35 years ago with his parents where they raised dogs, birds, and raccoons just to name few of the animals! Greg married and had two girls and has worked in the shipyard business for over 35 years and became Manager for a local Portland shipyard.
Trina and Greg met 15 years ago and joined their two families. Together they raised four girls, four dogs, five cats, five horses, two goats and some pigs! Today, they have two boxer dogs (Wheelen and Rubi), two horses, and five cats. Their hobbies include playing with their dogs, off road adventures with their jeeps, and listening to Jazz.

The Dream Begins
Their love for animals sparked the beginning of a dream and a vision of MT Hood Pet Resort. In September 2007, Greg realized he was ready for a change and decided with Trina that it was time for them to turn their vision into a reality. Together the Hohler’s began their research in owning, operating and building a top – notch animal care facility. The MT Hood Pet Resort vision expanded as the Hohler’s quickly learned they wanted to offer a facility like nothing else in Sandy, Oregon. A utopia where people could bring their dogs and be exposed to all the care and services that their dog deserves from grooming, daycare, self service wash, boarding, training, a gift boutique and of course lots and lots of love.
With Greg’s engineering experience and Trina’s knowledge of animals, the vision of MT Hood Pet Resort has started to come to life. Together they have redesigned and changed the whole look of what was once was an Athletic center into A -State – Of – The- Art Pet facility which boasts 8400 square feet of modern space featuring 2 indoor parks with 2 waterfalls and artificial grass, full and self service grooming, boarding, training and gift boutique. Mt Hood Pet Resort will provide dogs and their loving owners a peace of mind, education and safety.
