Training at MT Hood Pet Resort

MT Hood Pet Resort offers basic obedience training for dogs of all sizes and breeds. We also educate the owners as well. We offer basic obedience training and puppy training classes.
Amy Smith of Munch and Gracie's Canine Services provides the training. Amy has been a professional canine instructor since 2002 and in 2006 she graduated as a certified small animal massage therapist from the Northwest School of Animal Massage. She is a member of both the Association of Pet Dog Trainers and the International Association of Animal Massage & Bodywork.

Requirements
Payment and registration is done through the Resort.
All classes must be pre-paid and registered before class start time.
Shot records need to be shown at registration or before class.

Class Fees
All group classes are six weeks long, and last 1 hour
$110 per dog
C.G.C. testing $10 per dog
Canine Massage $45 a session

How To Prepare For Class
Your canine will need to be: hungry, exercised and taken potty.
Please wear appropriate shoes—no high heels or flip flops.
No children under six.
Children 7—11 must have a parent helping them handle the canine.
Children 12—17 must have a parent on site.

Equipment Needed For Class
Rewards: Lots of small (pea size) soft food treats and a favorite toy.
Clicker: For the Basic w/Clicker class.
Flat Buckle Collar with ID tag.
Six-foot leash: leather or fabric (no extended or chain leashes please).
Treat pouch: fanny packs, nail pouch or carpenters apron works well.
